ARKS Capital is built on a shared vision developed by longtime friends and business partners, Akshat Khajuria and Rorey Seligmann, to build and grow an enduring business.

At our core, we’ve always been problem solvers. Both of us studied engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, drawn to the challenge of tackling complex problems. But it was through a consulting organization on campus that we discovered a new passion: addressing dynamic business challenges shaped by people, competition, technology, and the economy. That realization led us into consulting careers, first together at PwC and later at firms like McKinsey & Company.

Over the years, we partnered with Fortune 500 companies across industries from transportation and consumer goods to industrials and technology. We learned how businesses operate, how teams thrive, and how strategy drives growth. Yet, as rewarding as this work was, we wanted something more — the chance to go deeper, to commit to one business, and to have a personal stake in the outcomes of our decisions.

That desire led to the creation of ARKS Capital LLC, with Rorey as the Founder. ARKS Capital is not looking to flip companies or chase quick returns. Instead, we aim to acquire and operate a business we can steward for the long term — protecting its people and legacy while applying the problem-solving skills that have guided us from the start.

Team Roles & Compliance Note

• Rorey Seligmann — Leads ARKS day-to-day and responsible for 100% of investment decision making and operations

• Akshat Khajuria — Akshat is currently an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. He is not involved in ARKS investment decisions, diligence, negotiations, capital raising, or operations while employed at McKinsey. Any operating role is contingent on (i) ARKS successfully completing an acquisition and (ii) his separation from McKinsey.
